To add a joint owner to your account, we will require:

A signed letter of instruction or a completed and signed Change of Registration from the current account owner.

A completed New Account Application signed by the current account owner and the new account owner.

To remove an account owner from your account, we will require:

A Change of Registration Form completed and signed by all account owners. All signatures must be guaranteed on the form.

A completed and signed W-9 Form from the remaining account owner.

The signature guarantee requirement is to protect against unauthorized requests by assuring the required signatures are genuine. A signature guarantee can be obtained at many commercial banks, credit unions, savings associations, or broker-dealers. A notary public is unable to provide an acceptable guarantee.
