·        Who can re-register an account:

§  Beneficiaries: These individuals or entities are designated by the account owner(s) while they actively hold an account

§  Executor(s) of one’s Estate: When a beneficiary is not designated (and in some other circumstances) the account would need to be re-registered to the accounts owners’ estate. This is done via probate through the local court in which they will appoint an administrator or executor for the deceased estate

§  Successor Trustee(s): For Trust registered accounts, trust documents would list successor trustee(s) to maintain the trust after the current trustee has passed away

§  Please note that we are unable to accept designation or direction from any type of a Will or Last Testament for re-registration


·        If you need to confirm beneficiaries, account balance, or Date of Death valuation, please contact us by either phone or chat

·        Re-registration of an account may require the authorized individual(s) re-registering to obtain a Medallion Signature Guarantee. To find out more about what it is and participating financial institutions click here

·        All forms need to contain original signatures and be mailed to us at one of the mailing addresses provided on the form

·        (Non IRA Accounts) Complete the Reregistration and Redemption Options Form with a Medallion Signature Guarantee


·        If you’re going to be a new investor Please complete the New Account Application




·        (IRA Accounts) Complete the Beneficiary Payout Form for IRA Assets  with a Medallion Signature Guarantee


·        If you’re going to be a new IRA investor Please complete the IRA Account Application




·        If you are removing the joint owner or co-trustee due their passing we do not require the Medallion Signature Guarantee. Please send us a copy of the certified death certificate and complete a Letter of Instruction


·        The Medallion Stamp is provided with different dollar threshold limits, please ensure the one you are getting covers the amount of the account being re-registered
